In Rome/Pompeii they
had many class systems from slaves to emperors. The romans relied on slaves for
almost everything from serving them food to washing their clothes, slaves had
some of the most gruelling jobs ever. They didn't earn any money, it was a
terrible, but on the other hand you could be rich and live a life of luxury
doing nothing, this is a page about all the class systems Slaves: slaves went
through the worst time ever, the lucky ones got to work on big farms or fields,
others were forced to work in the mines mining gold, silver, copper or iron.
Others got to work for the rich as nannies, cooks, stable boys and much more,
they wore clothing depending on what their job was. Some very lucky slaves were
freed. Commoners:
the commoners could be farmers, Soldier, Merchant,
Craftsman, artist, Entertainers, Lawyers, Teachers, Engineers and the
Government, they also did party but not as much as the wealthy. They had many
gods to pray to. They wore togas, the quality of the togas changed depending on who they
were, and how much money they had Wealthy:
the boys went to school, they learnt how to read
and write, and calculate numbers, very wealthy had slaves to teach them. The
wealthy lived in a dommus homes), many of the richest also had villa (large country estates) in
the country as well as a dommus. They wore only the best materials
because they had the right to.
